Compower's field test unit in operation
On November 13 we were pleased to have our field trial unit in Kristianstad officially inagurated. This was done at a ceremony where US ambassador Michael Wood pushed a button that connected our ET10 microCHP to the nearby building and lit up a range of lamps.
The magic moment:
Ambassador Wood pushes the button and
Compower's ET10 starts generating electricity from biogas.

describes how the microCHP works
From now on, the unit will be in continuous use as a part of a two-year project between Compower, Kristianstad muncipality and Region Skåne. It will be a display for the capabilities of small-scale, biofuelled CHP system at the same time as we gain operation experience to be incorporated in our continuous product development.
The development of the system has been supported by Energimyndigheten and Svenskt Gastekniskt Center.
